If your question isn’t here you can contact me and I’ll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours or you can head over to our Facebook Community Group and ask your question there and get information from people who have done our programs in the past or are doing one right now.

The group is a closed group, but if you request to join we will approve your request as soon as we see it!

Why would I pay to do Learn to Run when I can use an app for free?

There are lots of free resources available for people who want to learn to run, or to improve their running. We think these are a great option for lots of people and love that for some they are a successful way to start running.

The actual training plans make up only a very small proportion of Learn to Run.

Yes, our participants receive a plan to follow each week that forms the basis of their programs.

But what generic plans or apps can’t give you is a support network for every step of your journey.

When you Learn to Run with Operation move, you become part of a small private community of women who share your hopes, goals, fears and successes because they are taking a leap of faith just like you are.

Our participants have daily access to the support and advice of their coaches within a safe, nurturing online space.

At the end of a training session, instead of an app beeping at them, our participants receive congratulations and virtual high-fives from their coaches and team mates. We understand that prioritising the time to do something for yourself can be a big challenge in itself, and we think you deserve some recognition for doing it.

And unlike an app, when you lose motivation you have the guidance and support of your team to help make sure you keep going. If you’ve ever started a gym or training program only to give in to the “I’ll do it tomorrow”s one time too many, then finding yourself out of pocket and no fitter than at the start, you’ll understand the value of having REAL PEOPLE looking out for you and giving you that extra nudge when you need it.

We think generic apps and training plans are great and wholeheartedly support anyone who wants to try them!

But we know that a lot of people need and DESERVE to have someone working with them to help modify the training to their own personal circumstances, to answer their questions and to remind them that they are doing a GREAT thing when the going gets tough.

That is why people choose to do Learn to Run.

Do you offer any guarantees?

We sure do.

We are confident that if you apply yourself and follow the activities as set out within Learn to Run you will be well on your way to a happier, healthier life.

If you feel this is not the case within the FIRST THREE WEEKS of any course, you may submit completed tasks to date and receive a refund in full. Please note; evidence of completion of all tasks MUST be supplied before any refund request will be addressed. This is because your wholehearted involvement is a key factor to your success in Learn to Run. We can give you the tools, but you need to be involved in the building process as well.

What can I expect to get out of Learn to Run?

Aside from access to one on one support and guidance from our coaches, course participants should expect to set and meet personal goals in the areas of increased health and fitness as well as general wellbeing. Numbers are limited so as to ensure our online support communities remain friendly and accessible.

At the completion of the course, training groups will remain available for participants to continue their health and fitness journeys with the ongoing support and friendship of their course group in a private, secure environment.

What level of fitness do you need to start?

If you want improved health and fitness and are willing to make positive changes to your life, that’s all you need!

People often ask us if the program is right for them if they are overweight or haven’t exercised in years or if they are 50 or over.

And the answer is yes! The benefit of a coached program, rather than an app or a generic plan is that if at any stage the program isn’t quite working for you because it’s too advanced or the progression is too quick – you have a team of coaches who can create a plan for you that is specific to your individual needs. This makes sure that you have something that you are going to enjoy, that is achievable and is also going to show you improvement from week to week.

Do you offer payment plans?

For Learn to Run, we do offer a payment plan, just select the option that you want in the store.

For personalised training options payment is upfront because you recieve a 12 week or 16 week plan when you first sign up.

For Far and Fast Coaching, you can pay monthly, quarterly or annually and can cancel any time.

Do I need a fancy running watch?

Absolutely not! Running watches are loads of fun, but they are not necessary for Learn to Run. We provide guides to use free apps, like RunKeeper to set up all of your sessions. That way you get audio prompts for your sessions which makes them way easier to complete but you don’t need to outlay the extra money for a premium app or a GPS watch.
