Welcome to a new month!
There is a saying that I love; ‘Life always gives you a second chance. It is called tomorrow.’
In my years before Operation Move, I was the queen of excuses for not making changes.
I was always going to start on Monday, or the first of the month, or New Years Day. And when I didn’t start on those days I figured I may as well not bother.
That is, of course, completely stupid. But I bet I’m not the only one.
So it is the first of the month. The slate is wiped clean and you can get out there and start as you mean to go on. Maybe you have joined our Learn To Run group and are feeling excited and a bit nervous about your new challenge. Maybe you are going to take part in #Feb450 and enjoy lots of great walks this month.
Either way, if for whatever reason it doesn’t work out for you today, you still have tomorrow. Because we don’t need a new month to decide to make our health and happiness a priority (even though that can hold a lot of appeal for the more OCD types like myself).
It is going to be a fabulous February. What are you going to do to be fabulous in it?
